About the event

Navigate Challenges

Learn to identify common parenting and co-parenting struggles—such as differing values, inconsistent discipline, transitions (like separation or divorce), and child behavioral concerns. Utilize interactive exercises, problem-solving frameworks, and stress management tools to tackle parenting difficulties, even when co-parenting from separate households.

Improve Communication

Learn to foster open, respectful, and consistent communication between parents and between parent and child. Utilize active listening skills, non-defensive communication, role-playing exercises, and communication scripts to set shared communication goals and boundaries that keep the focus on the child’s wellbeing, regardless of personal dynamics.

Create a Supportive Environment

Learn to create emotional safety and stability in the home—whether that’s one home or two. Establish elements of a nurturing environment, emotional regulation and resilience, attachment-based techniques, family rituals, and co-parenting agreements to help identify family strengths and to develop an action plan for fostering growth and connection going forward.
